Peter Worby Antiques Restoration is a small business located in Hertfordshire. Peter's client base, increasing since becoming independent in 1998, includes Hertfordshire and surrounding areas in: Essex, Cambridgeshire and London. His clients are situated in a number of towns and villages, including: Bishop's Stortford, Buntingford, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Royston, Stanstead Abbotts and Welwyn Garden City.
 
Peter is a specialist in furniture restoration and the creation of bespoke furniture, with over 35 years experience.
 
Peter's experience in the trade started at the age of 16, producing handmade Georgian replicas such as: Batchelor Chests, Double-Dome Bureau Bookcases and Lowboys. His association with the world of antiques continued at a prestigious antique shop in Hertfordshire, where he spent 22 years restoring client and shop pieces. In addition, he has an apprenticeship in cabinet making.
 
Outside of antiques, Peter is enthusiastic about sport. He is an FA Level 1 Coach and an FA Level 7 Referee. He was a coach at Hares Youth from Under 7 to Under 18, and has been the Club's Treasurer since its formation in 2000. His contribution to football in the local area was recognised in 2008 when he was named Sainsbury's National Sporting Champion. He also spends time out on the golf course and fishing in all seasons. Peter helps maintain one of the local lakes in his spare time.
